Stuff We Dig: ML Kishigo’s Brilliant Series
0Reflective piping outlines the wearer. Brilliant! Let’s be honest, there’s a whole lot of hi vis gear out there that really isn’t very exciting (shocking, I realize). Standard mass produced ANSI vests and jackets aren’t generally created with cutting edge design or high quality in mind.
But M.L. Kishigo apparently doesn’t want to create run of mill reflective clothing. Kishigo’s Brilliant Series line adds reflective piping to vests, jackets, and pants, which greatly enhances visibility by providing an outline of the wearer. A simple design tweak, that makes a world of difference. The piping is placed on all Brilliant Series wear.
The ANSI Class 3 rain jackets and pants in the Brilliant Series line actually look, well, kinda cool. The jacket has funky black accents on the front and shoulders, and the pants have large side cargo pockets that are both stylish and functional.
High-visibility, waterproof comfort, and style don’t usually come together in hi vis apparel, but they do here.
After seeing hundreds of identical safety vests and jackets from different manufacturers, it’s kind of refreshing to see what M.L. Kishigo is doing with their safety apparel. The Brilliant Series line is reflective safety apparel that we’re actually excited about (we’re kind of nerdy here at EsafetyStore, but we do indeed get excited about cool new safety apparel and equipment).
Consider Brilliant Series high visibility apparel when you’re outfitting yourself for the spring and summer.
Warehouse of Richlu Winter Wear
0Richlu is made in Canada, which gives it instant street cred when it comes to insulated safety apparel.
When you’re in the safety apparel business like we at eSafetyStore are, you gamble with inventory. The snowy and cold winter last year meant that we had very view hi vis bombers and reflective coats still in our warehouse by March. It was an ideal time to have a site like Cold Weather Workwear.
It was 70 degrees yesterday in Wisconsin, so it’s safe to say that there’s hasn’t been as much demand for high visibility winter workwear this year. That’s when workers benefit.
We have a warehouse full of Richlu winter wear and we need to get rid of it with a Richlu winter workwear sale. For those unfamiliar, Richlu is high-quality gear. It’s made in Canada, which gives it instant street cred when it comes to insulated safety apparel.
Richlu ANSI class 3 jackets feature a polyurethane-coated polyester outer shell, a heavy-duty quilted lining, and the CSA reflective X pattern on the back. This makes Richlu reflective jackets ideal for use as high visibility railroad wear. The 6-in-1 Hi Vis Jacket has a removable liner and converts into a insulated hi vis safety vest by zipping off the sleeves. It’s also reversible, so it can be worn as a black jacket when hi vis safety apparel isn’t needed. A standard insulated reflective jacket is also available.
Insulated overalls by Richlu are made from the same quality material, and when worn with a hi vis jacket create an ANSI class 3 winter ensemble. Most of Richlu’s insulated workwear has a two-tone design, so it hides dirt and grime.
An early spring means that we have extras when it comes to cold weather wear. It also means that workers get one heck of a deal on hi vis outerwear.
